Why I’ve started this blog
If you’re interested in researching food you’ll probably have heard time and time again that adopting a plant based diet will help your health. Maybe even cure you from any ailment you may have.
Whatever your reason for switching to a plant-based diet, it’s natural to assume that if you eat more fresh fruits, vegetables, pulses, grains, beans, nuts and seeds you will reap the rewards. Well, what if you just end up feeling terrible?
That’s what happened to me.
I’d always prided myself on being healthy and knowledgable about food. Yet the healthier I ate, the worse I felt. I was uncomfortable, bloated, cramping and tired.
I’m vegan and I have IBS. The low-FODMAP diet is a scientifically proven, prescribed restriction of high FODMAP foods for the management of IBS like symptoms. And I can testify to its effectiveness.
I want to share with you my low-FODMAP vegan recipes and hope that whatever your reason for visiting my blog (you don’t need to be vegan, vegetarian or low-FODMAP) you enjoy them and feel great about yourself!
